Abdulrahman Ali Al Saad Power Projects Co. W L L (APP) is an Electrical and Civil Contracting Company based in Bahrain since 2006. APP offers varying specialized services to the Electricity and Water Authority of Bahrain, as well as major Private Sector contractors, for infrastructure development projects. APP is also specialized to offer technical assistance to Substation projects, Electrical Transmission and Distribution projects and various Telecommunication projects. APP’s expert team is also certified for 400 kV/220kV/132kV/ 66kV/ 33kV/ 11kV Substation Project works, its power feeder cable and Fiber Optic Cable laying, Jointing, Termination, Testing and commissioning works.

Management
Abdulrahman Ali Al Saad is an Electric Engineer, with a B.S.C in Engineering from the King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals, KSA, and a Masters in Management from Trinity College, Ireland.
Abdulrahman has worked in EWA, then the Ministry of Electricity and Water, for 30 years. He has started as an Engineer, and was recognised for hard work, dedication, and honesty. Abdulrahman has maintained his growth in the Ministry, reaching the position of Assistant to Undersecretary before retirement. During his years in the Ministry, Abdulrahman Ali Al Saad has extended his expertise and understanding of the field, and further brought value into the Ministry regulations, processes, and ‘know-how’.
Post retirement, he has focused his energies into entrepreneurial ventures and investments. Eventually, he has established with his son, Ali Al Saad, the Abdulrahman Ali Al Saad Group W.L.L, which is mainly set to manage his assets, and provide a platform to build family wealth.
Since his years in the Ministry, Abdulrahman AlSaad has realised the Market need for a specialized jointing Company in Bahrain, and has now brought this realisation to life in establishing AlSaad Power Projects SPC.
Both Al Saad Group and APP are now managed by his children, Ali Al Saad, Ismahan Al Saad and Fatima Al Saad, while Abdulrahman enjoys his retirement.

APP launches regional branch in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia .

APP expands operational services with a new department for Transformer Installation.
APP is subcontracted by Korean Company, ILJIN Electric Co LTD, for replacement of 2 ×80 MVA with 2 ×100 MVA Generator Transformers at Riffa Power Station

APP attains Grade 1 certification by EWA, for electrical works with unlimited load capacity.
APP is appointed by ESBI for major 11kV reinforcement works issued by EDD-EWA within the Oil and Gas Fields of Bahrain, including Tatweer, Bapco, and Banagas Fields; continuing similar projects to date.
APP launches a new department for Electrical Installation Solutions; for infrastructure and multi-storey construction projects.
APP is sub-contracted by Larsen & Turbo for Trench excavation, Cable Installation and Termination works of 33kV cables in Tatweer Petroleum Oil Field.
APP commences with direct major contracts issued by EDD-EWA, and supervised by ESB International Consultancy.
APP is awarded for the first time a project for Fibre Optic Cable Testing and Termination Works, as sub-contractor for a Bahrain based company.
APP provides Technical Support to LS Cable for 220Kv & 66kV Transmission Development Projects.
APP has expanded its services to provide Pilot Cables and Optical Fibre Solutions, for a number of its respective clients.
APP is established in Bahrain, within less than 5 years of operations, and recognized as the #1 service provider to all Contracting giants for 66Kv Transmission Development Projects.
